This lovely trio is apart of our Amazon Basin exhibit. They're Amazonian manatee (Trichechus inunguis). Not show are a pair of tambaqui, a banjo catfish, and the schools of Mesonauta festivus and cockatoo cichlids that the manatees also share their tank with.

They're so cute. I love manatees and Duogongs since they are such comely creatures, simple and pleasant. It's a shame that they're endangered...You know, my first research item was actually on the Amazonian Manatee, I drew a cute (at the time) little baby one.
